Structured Literacy

Online reading and writing help from qualified dyslexia therapists to struggling students all over the world. We provide comprehensive assessment, instruction, practice, progress monitoring, support and results through proven structured literacy (aka Orton-Gillingham) no matter where families live.

Structured Writing

Therapy sessions take the abstract idea of grammar and writing and make it concrete, understandable, and fun. Sessions are tailored for each student's ability, age, and grade. Grammar lessons cover the basic parts of speech and sentence construction. As students are ready, they are introduced to paragraphing and core types of academic writing.

structured Math

Our math sessions (aka OG math) apply the Orton-Gillingham multisensory instructional strategies to mathematics. Our approach follows recommendations from current research and the National Math Panel regarding instruction for struggling learners. Hands-on work with manipulative objects is recommended for all students at all ages. It enhances both concept integration and memory.

Our Language Assessment Report (LAR) uses a series of criterion-referenced and standard assessments.  Your report will cover the following: Oral Language, Phonological Awareness, Vocabulary, Decoding, Fluency, Spelling, and Writing. After the assessment, you will have a 30 min. conference to go over the results and recommendations. Be confident about taking the next steps to get your child the help they need to become a lifelong reader.
